How to: Request feedback from clients

Find out what your clients are thinking

Is your company listening to what your clients have to say?

It’s vital for all teams in an organisation to know how your clients rate the service levels you are providing; the things you are doing right, and where you could improve.

Here’s how businesses can track and respond to feedback from clients, all within ViewsHub.

In ViewsHub it’s easy to set up teams for departments and projects. Let’s assume you’ve set up a Sales team, consisting of your sales people.

From your Sales team profile you can send a request to clients asking them to rate your team on various criteria, and to provide feedback.

Simply hit the ‘Request Feedback’ button and choose the option to get feedback from people in other companies.

You’ll see the standard default criteria we’ve loaded into your profile. If you want to ask for ratings on this criteria, go right ahead, or set up some custom criteria, specific to your team.

Top Tip: Use criteria which are neutral as they will be answered by selecting stars on a 1–5 scale

Once you’ve saved the set of criteria you want ratings on, you’re ready to send the request to your clients. You can either enter email address, upload a csv file of contacts, or use the shareable link.

Top Tip: Add the link to your email signature, giving clients the opportunity to rate and give feedback to your team at any time.

When you clients click on the email or link, they’ll be asked to rate your Sales team on the criteria you sent, and to provide some qualitative feedback. They can choose to be anonymous (we won’t show you their name) or visible.

When they submit it, you’ll get an email to let you know your team has received new ratings and feedback. The individual and aggregate ratings and feedback will be visible on your Sales team profile.

You can reach out to everyone who rates and gives you feedback. It’s a perfect opportunity to connect with your clients and find out what your team can do to improve (or what you are doing great!)
